A Team To make The Difference

Xander2KX January 2003

Me and DarK didn't exactly know when it would be good to start this whole thing and we were very excited about it. But what better time than the beginning of the new year? We both meet in the evening of January 2nd 2002 and decided it was time. We wore our brand new tag Wolf_ very proudly and the same night one of our best friend at zone LeBoss002 joined and both him and DarK were named captain. We had TheGAME aswell in the team as co-owner but he never really leaded anything.

We only started to recruit players in the middle of that month and later my first friend online, Dart, joined the squad but that was about all we could count on. All year was hard due to a lack of respect almost everyone threating us like we were a bunch of rookie. Our whinning and DarK's big mouth didn't help it. I always was recognized as a great player but it had been hard for the rest of the team. We had to prove ourself all the time over the cube. During the spring LeBoss002, DarK and had a meeting where we talked about respect, practices and a new website that would all give us a better image. It surely helped to be able to not only talk the talk but walk the walk by finishing 3rd in some tourney. It ended up bringing 2 good members in Ranger4x4 (XRS) and V3N0M (probably dead) and a lot of losers too that didn't last long. It was a 9 month work to get XRS in the team who not only wanted to stay alone but that didn't want to join an immature team at first, but it was on september 1st, maybe for my birthday, that he joined.

The msn zone was holding a official tournement once in a while. The last they ever done was that year on september 8th. Easily over 75 players were in this one. It was the top tournament, and a huge opportunity for me to show where the Wolfpack was standing. I was confident and ready to give it all and that payed off. Unlike in the movies I didn't finish 1st due to my exclusion of the tournament for not living in the U.S.A... yeah it was that gay, however I still suceed to get the 3rd position. You can bet your ass 1st was mine if it wasn't about that stupid host. Anyway, I think that looked great for the team that didn't really get any problem after this.
