Well, only 9 days until Christmas already and what a year it was for Wolfpack like I predicted it. The best one without any doubt. For everyone it’s time to take a break and relax of our usual routine and to go have some fun with your family and friends during the holidays! But before I let you go, I got the usual news letter for the months of November, December and January.
First of all, it’s important to remind ourselves that we had a meeting during November and it affected us more than we have been able to see it, especially during the last week. I was about our attitude and the way to see the team globally. We all had to change something but since a major change doesn’t take effect in a matter of days, there’s something inside of us that all pushed us to do better in the best interest of the team and on this day or should I say since yesterday the klik is back between us. We lost… and came back into furious wolf and destroyed 3 teams in a row and beat 1 time a team that will be one of the best in Quebec during the next few months.
This makes me believe in our chances toward the next CAL season. There will be a lot of work, but on the attitude and interpersonal factors we are ready. CAL registration for the fourth season has finally started and is open up to January 7th. So you will all need to go register before the ultimate date on this link: http://www.caleague.com/?page=register . Following this you will need to join the team, but it’s not ready yet since I haven’t received my confirmation e-mail yet. Concerning your information when making your account, only write your nickname since adding Wolfpack would be too long. For those who don’t know, the starters for this season will be Collector, Champion, Maalox, Deconcrisseur, Infinity, Nemesis and I.
There’s a lot to do until then such as finding all the information and programs needed for everyone, the way to record matches and we need to make our server compatible and ready for CAL. Also, I will be studying the possibilities to maximise our performances with our configurations and to get the maximum advantage possible allowed. Yes, I always been against changing the configuration of CoD2 because I see this and the fact that CAL allow is a complete circus and a deformation of what Call of Duty 2 is really about. However, we are a competitive team at this game and we will take all advantages possible and we’ll see who the best is really.
In the same subject, there’s only 1 week of competition remaining on TWL since from December 23rd to January 2nd they allow us to not accept any match. Thank you! So we won’t accept any during this and I will invite you to schedule them so you don’t need me because I won’t be at my apartment.
So I will be absent from this afternoon or evening until around January 20th 2007. Unless I find a long term work over there I won’t be reinstalling the internet. So during this time I want you to listen to Collector and Champion our 2 captains who will be leading during my absence. You will have all responsibilities including the one of taking care about everything surrounding TWL. I invite you to study what’s needed for CAL as well. You also have the right to make pass tryouts if there’s any and send me your decision by e-mail so I let you know my decision on it after.
Don’t worry, I’ll be pretty busy during this time off working on 3 websites including ours, my cousin garage one and North* Gaming one also.
You may probably have already heard that I’m sponsoring this team of pros. The team is made up of ex RZ and s-gaming so a lot of experience and skill regrouped. The sponsoring offer is a 10 slot Ventrilo with a 12 slot CoD2 server until February. Then we’ll talk over this again and will reduce our server slots to 16 by the same time. Adding to this I’m making them a free website. But all this doesn’t come free. They were WP as sign of the sponsor and they’ll wear Wolfpack everywhere, on the cod2 server, on their website and even in the LANs. I’m sponsoring them because I believe in them and want to give them a chance and in return, they’ll be a lasting team and they will be a hard as hell team to beat which will be good for us in some way by making us be more known and more appreciated. Also, it gives me the opportunity to make a name for myself with the gamers to start my business one day.
On another subject, when I’ll be coming back on January, it’s 99% sure that we start the expansion into Rainbow six Vegas which will become the 2nd “official” game of the team but not a place to be competitive, at least at start. Until then I invite you to investigate on this amazing game that scored a 9.1 on X360 and an 8.7 at gamespot.com.

I will try to get information on when a demo will be available to try it before buying it at least. Not everybody can run the game here, such as our little champion and Maalox that has a X800 if I remember well? Else the X1300 or 6600 and more got the technology to run this game. Don’t forget it’s not mandatory to buy this game, it only receive a unanimous vote at the meeting and got a lot of interest and for me it’s a dream coming true to get in back in this beautiful series that is Rainbow six.
Finally, January 2nd will mark the 5th anniversary of the Wolfpack and I’m more than proud of this. Unlike the last years, I won’t try to host the tourneys on that very same day knowing I won’t even have internet, but here’s what it will be about. For now, no date has been decided, but the 3 scheduled events will happen between January 20th and February 1st. The official’s dates will be decided around January 15th. Included in this anniversary event will be a SD 5 vs. 5 Call of Duty tournaments with double elimination or more depending on the number of team registered. A tourney with all those who can at Monster Truck Madness 2 on the Hypercube with a double elimination again. And a Wolfpack only introduction to RS Vegas and another of CoD2 with dms, hqs, ctfs and sd for fun with thanks to the team and a “Member of the year” award.
And for now, I wish you all to have wonderful holidays with your friends and families. Have as much fun as possible and eat like pigs and may there be plenty of alcohol! Except for you kids hehe. And if we don’t see again until this time, a merry Christmas and a happy new year!
